On Oct. 2, 2017, news that Tom Petty had died sent a seismic shock wave through the musical universe. MAKIN’ SOME NOISE is a band of Boston-based musicians dedicated to celebrating the legacy of an indisputable American music icon. Makin’ Some Noise performances are a showcase of songs ranging from the big jangle of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers through to Petty’s solo masterwork, Wildflowers.
